Wama Orphanage School

WHO WE ARE
Wama Orphanage School ( majorly known as Wama Junior Academy) is a school Project Under Wama Development Foundation Africa , it offers orphans and disadvantaged children in Uganda hope and empowerment through education. Our concentration on education delivers greater learning outcomes for more students while providing needed support to hard-working
Wdfafrica staffs administering ground operations in the villages we serve. Wama Development Foundation Africa identifies children of greatest need in Ugandan villages we support and finds willing educational sponsors like you to pay it forward or leave a legacy. The need is great. The reward is greater.

Over 32 million children of primary school age are out of school in Africa.
By 2030, just 1 in 4 will complete the equivalent of a high school education.

Without education, hope and opportunity will bypass yet another generation

Wama Orphanage School  offers disadvantaged children in the Eastern Uganda  hope and empowerment through education. We identify children of greatest need in Eastern Uganda  villages we support, then identify caring individuals like you to carry their educational burdens.

The school has 200 children who attend from monday to friday , the school has classes ranging from Kindergarten to Primary Seven . We have 10 teachers and 2 non teaching staff namely the Cook and the Security personal .

Three easy steps:

1. Children at greatest risk in Eastern Uganda villages we serve are identified.
2. Generous supporters like you step forward and contribute financially.
3.  Our European. USA, Australian and African aid partners enroll, educate, and mentor our sponsored children.

Together, we change the trajectory of a child’s life.

Colin’s Story ( The one in the Picture with a paper )

When Colin’s father died, his mom did her best to provide for him and his three siblings. At ten years old, he was forced to drop out of classes for weeks at a time because his school fees were not paid. He was identified by our partner agency as a child who would benefit from educational support.

A sponsor like you stepped in, and today, Colin is thriving.

He completed his secondary education and is now enrolled in post-secondary vocational school. He serves in leadership roles both on and off campus.

Your giving changes the odds and leaves a legacy through teaming up with our orphanage school to provide better education for the vulnerable children and unprivileged in Eastern Uganda .
