WIDOWS HOUSING PROJECT

WDFA Helped Mrs Jalia who resides in Bugiri District in Bugodo Village by constructing back her house. Mrs Jalia is a widow with only two children, her house was demolished by strong winds and heavy rainfalls leaving her with no where to stay.

Challenge

A widow and a mother with two children, her house was demolished by strong winds and heavy rainfalls leaving her with no where to stay. Mrs Jalia is a hard labourer who can’t afford to construct back her house. Her house was the only place where they could converge with her children and discuss about matters of life as they unfolded

Solution

The project helped her to construct the house through a sponsor who helps to educate one of her son known as Yasili , By the Help of Mrs Ruth Schmidt who lives in Germany, the Mother of two has a roof now though the doors and windows arent yet installed but she is very grateful and now this modern house is her home where she can raise her children from.

The house still needs shuttering and finishing . It’s around 600 Euros to finish. The journey will end with joy .
